This is disturbing in and of itself to me, but what bothers me more is the significance of the day. Today is November 5th, a day when in UK history treason was stopped. Guy Fawkes was working under a man who wanted the Parliament and the king dead, and almost succeeded. But he was captured and killed.

To have this happen on an Army base today... I can't help but draw conclusions.

I know the feeling. It is worst the world today has gone from bad to worse. Not just in the U.S.A but in England and all over really. To me no where is safe and it is not even safe to raise kids anymore. They are slowly if not fast become involved in crimes and gangs. Not all but some and it has gone up not down I think this world has had it I can not see how it can be okay or go back to the way it use to be when it was much safer. November the 5th use to be such a good day for me but now it is not. I can't remember when it was or use to be safe like it had been all those years back when I would see the fireworks and feel warm by the bombfire. It has gone from my childhood.

I heard about this. It's sad that it happened and it brings another reminder of how truly this world is getting messed up. The world that are grandparents and our parents grew up in are no longer the same. It starts with the raisingnof a child and goes from there. Check outthe patterns the need for wealth and independence from responsibilities

I was shocked when I read about it on the papers a few days ago. Deepest condolences to the families of those who have been lost in the firing.

Yeah I feel the same way I can't really understand why people need to fight all the time, it is just silly and dangerous, I feel so sorry for those who lost their loved ones in this.

They said possible al queda link... be interesting to see what comes of the investigation .

I saw that as well. And the Al Queda usually do operate on days of significance, so it makes sense.

I guess he's already got a lawyer. Personally, I say he's guilty, period, end of story.
