Ok this is going to be really interesting. Apologies for the delay!

This is a snap taken from an online webcomic. The words in the conversation have been removed. Your task is to create a funny conversation between these 2 characters.

Everyone is free to participate. Scores from Round #1 will be carried forward.

Date for Submission: October 15th

We got several entries for this round, but only 6 that matched the given criteria.

In case of multiple entries, I have scored the photo I liked the best.

This was a test of creativity and not technique. The scoring is subjective since I rated the images in order of how much I loved them. I am no expert in photography though

Entries were scored out of 20.

1. Silas: CLICK

I love how we can't tell the real Silas from the reflection in this photo taken in an elevator with a mirrored ceiling. Quite cool - the sudden impulse to take this photo.

2. Trill: CLICK

This pepsi pyramid is so cool - all symmetry and perfection!

3. Rubber Ducky: CLICK

I think this is one of my favourite entries - I love animals and this captures the pair perfectly. I love how they are patiently sizing up each other.

This one stands out for obvious reasons!! Love it!

5. Saknika: CLICK

Score: 20

This one I just couldn't figure out! It is a photo of origami set up over water to give the reflection, with a backlight covered with a gel to cause the colouration and spotlight effect. Kudos for the most extraordinary photo in this contest!! The effort that went into getting the perfect shot is in itself worthy of appreciation!! Very beautiful shape and colours.

Reflections are always so damn hot! Especially if tweaked like this. Very cool.

ROUND #2 will be up shortly! Scores from Round #1 will be carried forward. Contestants who did not submit an entry in Round #1 can participate as well.

In Round #1, each contestant must submit 1 photograph. This is a test of creativity and not technique. The photograph can be old or new. Get as random and out-of-the-box as you can get! Photograph whatever you think looks super-cool. I will score the entries for this round.

So, PM me with your entry and entitle your PM as "ROUND #1 entry". Final date is September 4th, 2009!

The PvC is back with a bang! For those of you who don't know what this is about, the ProVision Challenge is the biggest competition at PV - and is held annually.

Here are the main threads to the Challenge from the last 2 years:

So let's give you guys some basic info on the competition:

1. There will be 3 rounds this year (instead of 5 like in the past).

2. Scores from each round will be added up and the contestant with the maximum score at the end of the 3 rounds will be crowned the winner.

3. The Challenge will run over the next few weeks.

4. This is a GENERAL COMPETITION where everyone can participate.

Prizes

1. Winner: gets +100 PV Points, a custom title, a winner's signature, a spot on PV's affiliates table for a whole month, a stickied thread for his/her forum in our Forum Reviews and Forum Advertisements boards for an entire month.

2. First Runners-up: gets +50 PV Points, a custom title, a runners-up signature, and a minibanner spot on the header of the general board for 2 weeks.

3. Second Runners-up: gets +25 PV Points, a runners-up signature, and a spot on my signature area for advertising a forum of his/her choice for 2 weeks.
